Welcome to the Fort Myers Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s website. This website is an excellent opportunity to inform members of our community and others throughout the state and abroad, of our chapter’s “public service” activities. It is our hope that this website will inform you of the commitment that Delta women share in reaching out to the public through partnerships, community projects and programs.
Delta women believe in giving service to the less fortunate, to youth through education and scholarship award programs, and to senior citizens. Delta women come to the forefront on local, state and national issues as it relates to education, health, economics, politics and international relations. Our involvement with these very important issues alone, make Delta women stand apart not only locally, but globally, from any other professional women’s organization.
We invite you to peruse our website to learn more about the “public service” activities in our community. We also provide a brief overview of our local history, and the national history of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
